Central
Oklahoma Society of Decorative Painters
We were First!
The Central Oklahoma Society of Tole and Decorative
Painters Inc., also known as "Tole Diggers", is an affiliated chapter of the
Society of Decorative Painters. "Tole Diggers" was affiliated in 1973 and began
"Tole Country" that same year. This is the 33 rd Annual Tole Country Convention.
The "Tole Diggers" are also busy with many
other activities and community service projects. Just to name a few: donating
Keepsake Boxes, hand made hats, aluminum pop top tabs to the
Ronald McDonald House Program. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,
donating hand painted Keepsake Boxes to local hospitals for seriously ill
children. Painting ornaments for the
Christmas trees displayed at Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City, attending an
Annual Chapter weekend painting Retreat. We are also sponsoring painting seminars, contributing to the Junior Arts
Program and much more.
Guests are always welcome to share in our monthly
activities. There are either demos or hands on activities every other month beginning in
February. For a very exciting evening we invite you to join us at the Putman City
Christian Church Fellowship Hall located at NW 42nd St. and Grove Ave. We meet at 7 pm on
the second Monday of each Month.
