What is Decorative Painting? Decorative Painting is the application of paint to any surface to enhance and decorate. Decorative Art is used to beautify our surroundings and includes the use of many media and surfaces. Decorative Painting is a “teachable art.” Anyone can learn to paint and create beautiful projects on both functional and strictly decorative surfaces.

Chapter Membership Membership is open to all persons who hold current membership with the International Society of Decorative Painters. www.decorativepainters.org Chapter Membership dues are due by Oct. 1 of each year. All members are encouraged to attend both the business and general meetings held alternately on the 2nd Monday of each month. Our Chapter is very active and has events happening all year long.  Join us every other month for “Fun Night”. For a nominal fee, you will have fun painting a different project each Fun Night.   Jump right in, be part of our Secret Palette Pal Program  You will find friends; fun; sharing and skill building, which are all a large part of our agenda.  We also invite members to share their favorite dishes at each General Meeting. Food is fun! Annual Retreat Each year our members attend our Annual Retreat to share camaraderie, food and Decorative Art. We begin each Retreat by painting our Official Retreat T-Shirt with a new and adorable design made up exclusively for attendees only.
